The Kansas City Quilt Museum is committed to education at every level — from school programs for young learners to workshops for experienced quilters. Whether you want to understand the history of a pattern, develop a new skill, or connect with a community of makers, there's a program here for you.

School Programs

Curriculum-aligned programs for K–12 students connect quilts to history, mathematics, art, and social studies. Available as museum visits or outreach programs brought directly to your classroom.

For educators

Workshops & Classes

Hands-on quilting workshops for all skill levels, led by master quilters and textile artists. Topics range from traditional hand-piecing and appliqué to modern design and long-arm quilting.
